On a sunny day at the end of June, nearly 500 riders joined JDRF in Daley Plaza for the inaugural Spin to Win event.  Thanks to your continued support, this exciting event raised over $100,000 for diabetes research!  Spirits soared as almost 100 teams of five riders competed by trying to clock the most miles pedaled in 40 minutes.  Participants included local celebrities from NBC5 and WGN Radio, various local companies including finance, law and the health industry as well as families affected by diabetes.  The tent was packed with riders and supporters as the noon hour kicked off with media coverage for this unique Chicago event.  The excitement within the tent was contagious as crowds of onlookers gathered to see what all the buzz was about inside. Tremendous thanks goes to all our volunteers, donors, sponsors and riders who helped make this event the enormous success that it was for JDRF!
